My last wedding of the season and one of my favorites. I thought Michelle was stalking me...she seemed to show up at every wedding I was photographing. Turns out she knew all the brides and/or families and knew by the time it was her turn she wanted me to photograph her wedding. Funny story really and I was honoured. It was a gorgeous fall day until the very end when the wind picked up and it started to rain, very lucky!! A few of my favorites.
This was as my first wedding of the season and thank god it didn't rain....well after the formals it did.....so close!! This couple is so cute together and have had this wedding planned for well over a year. It was a special day and I met some incredible people along the way. I visited Forget Me Not Cat Sanctuary for the February cover of Pet Rescue Magazine. This not-for-profit Cat Sanctuary Society provides a loving home to cats that are feral, old, sick or injured. June Volsky, the Director, showed me around and introduced me to all the cats each having their own story to tell. These are a few of my favorites. I am still volunteering my photography to Pet Rescue Magazine and enjoying it very much. Above are the last two issues that I photographed.
This winter has been long and I am finally looking forward to the warmer weather. It has been a busy four months....looking for a house, moving in and now renovating it. So last month we got away to Canmore for the Easter weekend and enjoyed some R & R. Now we are making plans for the summer and going to enjoy every minute of it including making the house a home.
I haven't been blogging for a while.....been quite consumed by the holidays and all the fuss. I must admit Christmas isn't really my favorite holiday and this year was a little different....just me, Charlotte and my parents. My Sister and her family stayed in BC. I also spent some quality time with my close friends too....which I think makes the holidays complete. 2009 is going to be awesome!! I look forward to each and every moment of it all......to making new friends and experiencing new things.....woohoo!!!
