Woke up this morning to a snow covered city.....so beautiful. Not sure if it will stay, but the snow on the trees and the quiet of the city makes me thankful for the small things. Charlotte just loves the snow. We went for a walk and she was ripping around the field and eating all the snow.....she is so cute and funny.

BFF
Over the course of about 8 months Charlotte has played and frolicked with a dog named Maggie. When they get together it's like two crazy kids running around......they get along so well. Todd, Maggie's owner, has trained her quite well and Maggie retrieves the ball and will bring it right back to his hand where as Charlotte will prance around, show off her cuteness and then drop it a few yards away. We sure get our exercise running around with these two!! It's so great when your furbaby has a BFF.....brings a little tear to my eye!!!

Sexy
My girlfriend Chantel asked me if I would do some boudoir pictures of her and I jumped at the chance. I have never photographed anything like this before and we were both excited. I turned my guest bedroom into a funky set with props and a woven rug on the wall....Chantel went shopping for her sexy outfit, we had a blast. These are a few of my favorites.....more to come!!! Chantel you sexy kitten you!!!
E Session
I photographed Rebecca and Peter on a beautiful sunny fall day in September. I couldn't believe how warm it was, but we were trying to hide from the bright sun and find some shady areas with the wonderful warm colors of fall. I hope the weather is nice for their June 09 wedding, according to Rebecca it always rains in June. I will cross my fingers and toes it stays dry. Looking forward to it....you're both a wonderful couple!!

What Matters Most
Charlotte is my pride and joy and she loves playing fetch. She is turning one on July 31 and can't wait to spend the next 14 or so years with my furbaby. I had a pretty crazy day at work on friday moving into our new work stations and so I had to stay late to finish up some work. No matter what happens at work and how crazy things can get, I can always come home and be greeted at the door by Charlotte and then all my troubles go away.
Crazy Weather
This summer has had a sloooooooooow start here in Alberta. It has been hot, cold, hot, cold and everything inbetween. Had horific thunderstorms with hail and when the storm is over some amazing sunsets. Also had a rainbow over the house too. Not sure if it's global warming or just typical Alberta!! On vacation the last two weeks of August and first week of September so hopefully summer will stick around.

Last Wednesday I went out to Ardrossan and photographed the "Resuce 100" horses for Pet Rescue Magazine. What beautiful creatures...hard to believe that they were starving to death, just look at them now. They are all up for adoption and need good homes. It was such an amazing evening....I was so amazed. Find out more at www.rescue100.com/

Here...Kitty....Kitty
This past Sunday I volunteered for Pet Rescue Magazine and photographed some kittens that are up for adoption. The second picture made the front cover......what a cutie!! We adopted our puppy Charlotte from a rescue organization called S.C.A.R.S. and I just love these organizations for what they do for animals; all the volunteers and effort spent. You can contact S.C.A.R.S. at http://www.scarscare.org/ Also if you would like more information about the kittens or any adoption, please contact Pet Rescue Magazine at petrescuemag@shaw.ca or rescuemag@shaw.ca

Is winter over.....?
It is a lazy day for me, wishing the weather would get a little warmer and the snow would disappear. I am imagining hot weather and being out and about not worrying if I need my yak-trax on the bottom of my shoes so I won't slip on the ice....which I did a month ago and my butt is still healing!!!! I think Charlotte is wishing for warmer temperatures and running around the garden, right now it is an icy mess and it just won't melt. Next weekend I am off downtown on a photoshoot of four wonderful sisters who have amazing beauty and spirit....can't wait. Until then, stay warm!!!

Weddings 2007
Last summer I met some amazing couples and shared in some special moments photographing their wedding. I had such a good time and many laughs all around. We had some rain and hot, hot weather, but the couples didn't mind. The pictures prove that regardless of what challenges mother nature has to offer, we can still have a wonderful time. Thank you Gayle and Kevin, Marie and Richard, Kathryn and Graham, and Tracey and Richard for allowing me to photograph your special day.

My Dad's 60th
It was my Dad's 60th birthday February 1st...wow I can't believe it. What do you give to parents who seem to have everything and don't want anything. I decided to give him a custom framed photograph that I took in Jasper last fall. I just love this picture.....I love trees. It will hang on his wall and be a little reminder of me.
